Photography Project - Food

Image
A C appuccino  in the North End of Boston tastes as good as it would in Italy, or so I imagine. Food - C appuccino   Taken with the  LG Optimus Elite , No post processing.

Thanksgiving Our  thanksgiving  dinner consisted of 6 courses, starting with Cheese Terrine and ending in Pecan pie and I am about to explode so no longer explanations behind today's posting. 306/365 Photo Project - Sandwich Truck

Image
Sandwich Truck I pass this truck nearly everyday as I pass by the local area college and am often tempted to try it . I've not had the best experience with getting food from sandwich trucks in the past so have shied away from it for now. Taken with the  LG Optimus Elite , cropped to remove distracting objects from the frame in  post proc essing.

148/365 Photo Project - It's What's For Dinner

Image
It's What's For Dinner One of the (many) perks we are discovering living in a university town is the abundance of take out options there are out there. Today's pic is my chicken teriyaki burrito for Boloco , before I devoured it. Taken with the LG Optimus Elite, cropped for aspect in post processing.

147/365 Photo Project - Burger And Fries

Image
Burger And Fries Not exactly inspirational, but it's all I had time to take a photo of today during all of our unpacking. I can tell you these were very tasty though, although I can't wait to have a really BBQ grill again and be able to fry some of these bad boys up for real instead of in the frying pan. Taken with the Canon PowerShot SX230HS in macro focusing mode, no post processing other than cropping for square.

140/365 Photo Project - Salsa Bar

Image
Salsa Bar Nothing beats a burrito, and the burritos at Picante in Central Sq. are extremely delicious, especially when taken to go and washed down with a nice cool beer. Taken with the LG Optimus Elite with no post processing necessary.

137/365 Photo Project - Pepper Shaker

Image
Pepper Shaker Dinner and a movie night, yay! Pizza and pasta from Cambridge 1 in Harvard Square was delicious before heading out to The Dictator, also just as delicious! This will be the last photo taken, ever, with my LG Rumor Touch camera phone no post processing. By tomorrow my new phone, the LG Optimus Elite should arrive, I look forward to testing it's 5MP camera for this blog!

111/365 Photo Project - Animal Crackers

Image
Animal Crackers It's what's for desert! Taken with the Canon PowerShot SX230HS in toy camera mode, no post processing .

73/365 Photo Project - Aussie Pie

Image
Aussie Pie Working in the South Boston I've often passed by KO Catering & Pies restauran t and wondered if I'd like their pies, well today the pull was just too much to resist. As someone who grew up in the North of England I do love a good pie but I am often dismayed at what passes as a 'pie' in New England. I'm looking at you restaurants that simply stuff a puff pastry on top of a Irish stew. A pie should have a base as well as a top, yum! Just add pies, sweetcorn and HP brown sauce and I was in heaven. Taken with the Canon PowerShot SX230HS and eaten in 10 minutes. Happy Pie Day for tomorrow, 3/14!
