Blue Mountains - My First Ever Watercolor Painting
Having been inspired by my mother-in-law to learn how to paint over the Christmas holidays I picked up some supplies and decided to give it a go. I am not sure where this journey will take me, if i'll stick with it or not but I'm sure going to have fun trying. My first attempt was at a landscape watercolor in the style of Bob Ross having watched several of his shows over the years, I wanted to do a mountain scene with some little happy trees! Looking back on this I believe I would have had better success using Acrylic paints than water colors for mixing and blending the colors together on the canvas, but I have to say I am very happy with this as a first ever attempt.
