Working in the South Boston I've often passed by KO Catering & Pies restaurant and wondered if I'd like their pies, well today the pull was just too much to resist. As someone who grew up in the North of England I do love a good pie but I am often dismayed at what passes as a 'pie' in New England. I'm looking at you restaurants that simply stuff a puff pastry on top of a Irish stew. A pie should have a base as well as a top, yum! Just add pies, sweetcorn and HP brown sauce and I was in heaven.
